Vardhaman College of Engineering is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUH), Hyderabad vide Proc. No. A2 /Affi/Vardhaman/394/99-2000 dated 11 July 2000. It received permanent affiliation from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad from the academic year 2009 -2010 and valid up to 2018-19.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi Approval:

Vardhaman College of Engineering is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi vide letter no F. No. 730-50-298 (E) / ET / 99 dated 05 August 1999.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC):

The College has been Accredited with a CGPA of 3.24 on a four-point scale at ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for a period of Five years from 05/05/2014.

Autonomous:

The UGC has conferred “autonomous status” to the Vardhaman College of Engineering from the academic year 2014 – 2015 for a period of six years. All the 6 UG Courses – CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, 7 PG Courses – M.Tech (CSE), M.Tech (PEED), M.Tech (DECS), M.Tech (Embedded Systems), M.Tech (Engg. Design), M.Tech (Structural Engineering) and MBA are under autonomous status.

UGC Recognition

Vardhaman College of Engineering is recognized under section 2 (f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956 vide letter no F. No. 8-215/2012 (CPP-I/C) dated 4 September 2012 by University Grants Commission, New Delhi.  Now the college is under the head “Non-Government Self Financed” Colleges teaching up to Master’s degree to make it eligible to receive central assistance. The college would also be eligible to get the grant for all UGC schemes related to teachers and students.
