Dept of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science 

The department is established in the year 2021. The department offers a four year Bachelors (B.Tech) programme which aims at training students in the rapidly growing field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

This programme has a comprehensive coverage of applied mathematics used in data science and artificial intelligence while preparing the students to analyze, design and experiment solutions to problems

A major focus of this programme is to train the students with intelligent data analysis and equipping them with the knowledge of advanced innovations like artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is one of the emerging areas out of 10 special categories identified by AICTE and MHRD which can meet the requirements of the fast-changing industry. This stream is useful in finding meaningful information from huge pools of data like sensors, images, streaming video, satellite, medical imagery and the cloud.
