Civil Engineering is one of the broadest and oldest of all the engineering disciplines, extending across multi-technological ecosystems. The Department of Civil Engineering at Vardhaman College of Engineering was established in the year 2009. The department offers an undergraduate programme (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering and a postgraduate programme (M.Tech.) in Structural Engineering.

The Department boasts of a dynamic faculty team mostly doctorates from prestigious institutes IITs and NITs. The Department has well-equipped laboratories and has built excellent experimental and computational facilities in the field of Structural Engineering, Concrete Technology, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Remote Sensing and GIS, and Transportation Engineering with an emphasis on OBE.
