About Program

M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is to prepare students discover careers involving research and development applying computational techniques and technologies, to undertake advanced studies for research careers.

M.Tech (CSE) offers a strong foundation in Computer Science and equips them with advanced problem-solving techniques. Students will get an opportunity to choose specialized program electives in the trending areas of cloud Computing, data sciences.

Some of the salient points of this program are:

  • Structured curriculum with focus on research.
  • Has a high emphasis on practice as an integral part of the course work.
  • Builds research skills through project work.

Program Overview

PEO 1: Graduates will establish themselves as successful professionals by solving real-world problems within the context of a specific application domain using sophisticated computational methodologies.

PEO 2: Graduates will demonstrate their ability to pursue research in the areas of computer science and engineering and scale new heights in their profession through life-long learning.

PEO 3: Graduates will demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively, work in a team, and exhibit leadership skills to fulfil projects with limited resources and time.

PEO 4: Graduates will uphold the industry’s professional code of ethics and social attitude while actively engaging in initiatives that benefit society.

PO1: An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems.

PO2: An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.

PO3: Ability to demonstrate a degree of mastery in the area Computer Science and Engineering.

PO4: Translate theoretical understanding to experimental knowledge and solve complex problems using modern tools.

PO5: Transform societal issues into problems, investigate, understand and propose integrated solutions using emerging technologies.
