The Department has a research Centre recognized by JNTU Hyderabad. The aim of R & D centre is to nurture research culture and to promote research and innovation in the field of mechanical engineering. It provides an opportunity to the scholars to improve their qualification by registering for doctoral programme. The department research centre is dedicated to provide quality research in the imminent areas of mechanical engineering thereby filling the gap between academics and industry.

All the laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to impart necessary hands-on practice. The faculty of the department are highly qualified and experienced in academic and research areas.
