IEEE, Women in Engineering Inaugural on 24-01-2018.
IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group under the student chapter of Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad section was inaugurated on 24th Jan 2018. The WIE Affinity Group launches newsletter by name “ALMIKA”. This group is actively involved in organizing multiple events inside and outside college for the betterment of our society.
This affinity group is coordinated by Mrs. Sangeeta Singh (Assistant Professor, Dept. of ECE, Faculty Advisor, IEEE WIE, VCE) and Dr. M. A .Jabbar (Professor, Dept. of CSE, Secretary, IEEE CS, Hyd Sec.)
SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM- Date of the Event: March 15th &16th 2018
The IEEE WIE affinity group under the student chapter of Vardhaman College of Engineering, Hyderabad section has conducted an event called “Skill Development Program” on 15th and 16th of March, 2018 for the students of Govt. School of Narkhuda, Shamshabad. This program mainly concentrated on school children so as to teach them the trending technologies in a computer at present era. The school students mostly girls along with boys (Total of 140) studying in 8th and 9th standard from Govt. High School, Narkhuda, Shamshabad, participated in this event.
