About Vardhaman Alumni Network (VAN)

The Vardhaman Alumni Network (VAN) is the official alumni community of Vardhaman College of Engineering (VCE), Hyderabad. Since its establishment in 1999, VCE has built a strong legacy of academic excellence, innovation, research, and industry engagement. Today, its alumni form a vibrant global community of professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, academicians, and leaders who continue to make significant contributions across diverse sectors.

At VCE, alumni are regarded as lifelong ambassadors and valued stakeholders in the institution's journey toward academic excellence and societal impact. Their professional achievements, industry expertise, and commitment to giving back play a pivotal role in enriching the educational experience of current students and strengthening the institution's global presence.

The Vardhaman Alumni Network (VAN) serves as a dynamic platform that fosters lifelong connections among alumni, students, faculty, and the institution. It promotes meaningful engagement through mentoring, professional networking, knowledge sharing, career guidance, internships, entrepreneurship, collaborative research, and institutional development initiatives.

One of VAN's flagship initiatives is MITRA, the annual alumni reunion organized both in India and overseas, providing alumni with opportunities to reconnect with their alma mater, interact with faculty and fellow graduates, celebrate achievements, and contribute to the future growth of the institution.

Strengthening lifelong relationships between alumni and Vardhaman College of Engineering.
Building a vibrant global network of alumni across academia, industry, entrepreneurship, research, and public service.
Promoting alumni participation in institutional growth through mentoring, guest lectures, internships, placements, research collaborations, and curriculum enrichment.
Supporting student success through career guidance, professional networking, skill development, and entrepreneurial mentorship.
Organizing alumni reunions, networking events, technical talks, webinars, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Encouraging philanthropy and alumni contributions toward scholarships, infrastructure, innovation, research, and student development.
Providing opportunities for alumni to establish meaningful professional, business, and social connections with fellow graduates.

Vardhaman Alumni Association (VAA)

The Vardhaman Alumni Association (VAA) was established to foster lifelong relationships between Vardhaman College of Engineering (VCE) and its alumni. Officially registered under the Telangana Societies Registration Act in October 2024, the Association serves as the official platform for connecting alumni across the globe and encouraging their active participation in the academic, professional, and institutional development of the College.

VAA is committed to building a vibrant and engaged alumni community that promotes professional networking, mentorship, knowledge sharing, career guidance, entrepreneurship, and community service. By leveraging the expertise and experience of its alumni, the Association strives to create meaningful opportunities that benefit both current students and fellow graduates while contributing to the continued growth and reputation of VCE.

The First Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of the Association was held on 23 November 2024 in a hybrid mode at the VCE campus. The meeting marked a significant milestone in the Association's journey, bringing together alumni from across the country and abroad to shape its future direction.

Key deliberations during the AGM included:

Defining the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of the Association.
Strengthening alumni membership and engagement initiatives.
Expanding mentorship, internships, placements, guest lectures, and career guidance programs for students.
Promoting industry–academia collaboration and entrepreneurship initiatives.
Encouraging alumni contributions towards scholarships, institutional development, and fundraising activities.
Establishing the Executive Committee and Working Committees to drive the Association's long-term growth and sustainability.

Through these initiatives, the Vardhaman Alumni Association continues to strengthen the bond between the institution and its alumni while creating a collaborative ecosystem that supports student success, professional excellence, and institutional advancement.

Message from the Dean – Outreach

Welcome to the Outreach Office of Vardhaman College of Engineering.

At Vardhaman, we believe that the success of an institution is reflected not only in the achievements of its students but also in the lifelong relationships it nurtures with its alumni. Our outreach initiatives are designed to create a vibrant ecosystem where alumni, students, faculty, industry, and the institution collaborate to inspire learning, innovation, and professional growth.

The Vardhaman Alumni Association (VAA) serves as a platform to strengthen these lifelong connections by encouraging alumni to actively contribute to the academic and professional development of our students. Through initiatives such as Pioneers Podium, accomplished alumni share their experiences and expertise in emerging technologies, career planning, entrepreneurship, leadership, and industry practices, helping students prepare for successful professional journeys.

Our flagship alumni reunion, MITRA, along with regular alumni networking events, provides opportunities for graduates to reconnect with their alma mater, expand their professional networks, and foster collaborations across academia, industry, and entrepreneurship. These interactions promote mentorship, knowledge sharing, career guidance, internship opportunities, placements, and collaborative innovation.

Looking ahead, we are committed to introducing new initiatives, including an AI Club led by distinguished alumni professionals, to expose students to emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovation-driven learning. Such initiatives aim to bridge the gap between academia and industry while nurturing creativity, technical excellence, and entrepreneurial thinking among our students.

The Outreach Office also actively promotes partnerships with industry, professional bodies, research organizations, and our global alumni community to create meaningful opportunities for experiential learning, research collaboration, skill development, and institutional growth.
