The Student Mentoring System is a comprehensive support mechanism in which each mentor is assigned to a group of around 20 students, along with access to a professional counsellor to address psychological and emotional needs. It provides guidance on academics, career development, coursework, laboratory activities, and overall personality growth, with systematic documentation and regular audits of mentoring activities. The system is designed to enhance academic performance, identify slow and advanced learners, promote emotional well-being, and minimize dropout rates. By continuously tracking attendance and examination performance, mentors implement targeted interventions such as remedial classes, tutorials, and enrichment programs. In addition, a structured counselling framework helps students manage stress, anxiety, academic pressure, and behavioral issues. Through practices like early identification of at-risk students, personalized mentoring, integration with academic processes, and confidential counselling support, the system ensures holistic development and sustained academic success.
To create a nurturing mentoring environment that develops confident, competent, and socially responsible individuals prepared for future challenges and leadership.
