Vardhaman College of Engineering provides an enabling and inclusive platform for students to actively participate in a wide range of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, beginning from their first year of study. The institution strongly believes in fostering holistic development, complementing academic learning with opportunities that nurture creativity, leadership, and social responsibility.
The Student Affairs Cell (SAC) serves as the central body responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and regulating all aspects of student life at the institution. Functioning under the leadership of the Dean (Student Affairs), the cell ensures the effective planning and execution of student-driven initiatives across various domains.
With this vision, a diverse set of associations, clubs, and student forums have been established under the aegis of the Student Affairs Cell. Participation in these activities is voluntary and is designed to promote self-development, civic responsibility, and community engagement. Students are encouraged to explore their interests, understand societal needs, and contribute meaningfully through structured activities and outreach initiatives.
The Student Affairs Cell plays a vital role in building a vibrant campus community, fostering a sense of belonging, and enabling students to form lifelong connections. It also provides avenues to explore hobbies and passions, develop leadership competencies, and acquire essential career skills, while encouraging students to engage with both local and global communities through experiential learning.
Vardhaman College of Engineering provides an ideal platform for students to participate in Co-Curricular and Extracurricular activities. Vardhaman College of Engineering encourages Co-curricular and extracurricular activities for UG/PG students from their first year. The mandate of the Student Affairs Office is to coordinate and regulate all aspects of student life at VCE. These activities are voluntary and promote self development, help to understand the societal needs , involvements and develop civic sense in him/her. With this in view, various Associations, Clubs etc. have been promoted in the Institute campus under the aegis of Student Affairs Cell. The student associated activities are overseen by the Associate Dean (Student Affairs). The activities taken up under Student Affairs Cell is to, build community and belonging on campus, lifelong friendships and human connections, explore hobbies and passions, serve the local and global community using academic experiences develop leadership competencies and career skills.
Student Affairs Cell is currently operating from Room No.-4101, Block-4 with necessary facilities. One faculty member from each department Coordinates with the Cell to Organize the Student Activities. In total 24 Technical and Non Technical student clubs are operating under Student Affairs Cell . Each student club is led by 3 Students as Office bearers.
To provide a common platform for students to explore their inherent talents for improving soft and social skills through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and thus meeting the graduate attributes
